This red wine is 100% Shiraz from our 8 year old Taung Che and 5 years old Myaye Phyu vineyards. The grapes were harvested in second week of March 2011. The yield was very low, around 4 tons per hectare.Both fermentations took place in tanks then the wine was aged 10 months in new Hungarian oak barrels in the underground cellar.
Intense purple red color and good brilliance. Very fresh nose with notes if fresh mint. Fruity range of ripe red currant and raspberry. Good attack with spicy range of flavors. Good structure with lot of well rounded tannins.
Production: 1,080 cases (75 cl).
